Hellhorse Dragons are foul-tempered, spirited creatures with tempestuous and violent dispositions. Torrents of scorching flames erupt from their bodies and can easily set their surroundings ablaze. Highly aggressive and territorial toward other dragon species, Hellhorses will tolerate others as long as they believe the association to be beneficial. Such alliances are tenuous in nature and frequently short-lived, as the slightest disagreement can easily escalate into a full-out brawl.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Keegan is particularly aggressive and rebellious. He has a vendetta against rules, any rules really. He believes that true freedom means being able to do whatever whenever without consequence, which really puts into perspective his hatchling-ish views of the world. Keegan is an immature dragon. He's extremely petty and often let's even the slightest offenses set him off. It's no wonder that he gets into fights with so many other dragons. In fact, he invites it. Keegan loves bullying those that can't fight back. He'll often target weaker dragons and flare them into giving him whatever he wants. On the other talon, if ever he faces an opponent stronger than himself, he quickly flies into a frustrated rage and then away. This is very much the case with his older Hellhorse and Hellfire siblings, who can all easily kick his butt without remorse. Needless to say, Keegan despises his family and can't stand to be near them. He lives on his own, following whatever twisted whims guide him.
