When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As she aged, Aquarius noticed her Clan's concerning lack of water territory. Many sea dragons either made do with inland lakes, what little coast-land was available, or had to live beyond Clan protection in the distant seas. Despite being so young, she was rather quick to get permission from the Council to establish a March in the nearby ocean strait, in which many sea dragons now reside in safety.

She tends to be strict, but only for the benefit of her subordinates, and is otherwise an honest hard-working creature who puts her peoples' problems before her own. It's not unlike her to arrive on the scene in person- even when there's potential danger- and she herself is well-trained for battle (as she doesn't like the idea of relying on guards). However, she knows when a path of action is necessary, even if it's not something she likes. Though she mostly cares for her March, she is also very cooperative with her home-Clan, and seeks the best interests of both nations.
