This breed of dragon results from eggs or hatchlings that have been neglected. They are usually rebellious, not obeying their masters, sometimes even attacking them. However, their neglect as a hatchling leaves them crippled, and they are weak compared to other breeds, causing them to stay with their masters for protection.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

While Naza was still recovering, another mysterious hatchling was found by Mentha Verdana in the fire pit. Starving, but not badly burned, it was checked by the healers, then allowed to go home with Mentha Verdana, a competent healer in her own right. Named Casper, and raised in the loving and very busy Mint home, the new hatchling, shy at first, found all the activity fascinating, and soon became involved in anything and everything. When Naza recovered, Casper tried to engage its fellow adoptee in all the goings-on. While Naza did not join in, he did follow Casper closely, and the two became fast friends.

As Casper matured, becoming known in the community for its friendly and welcoming nature, it works well now with the shyest hatchlings in the school. The contrast in behavior of the two friends is remarkable, considering their similar experiences. While other hatchlings have since appeared in the same mysterious manor, none have healed as wholly as Casper the friendly ND.
