Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dune Glassweaver is fully capable of telepathy; in fact, with his sharp intellect, he'd be better at communicating than most.  He chooses not to, however, and communicates through violence instead.

His markings and fire are more brilliant than most, thanks to being the mate of the Beta's second-in-command; although he is extremely capable at shredding his foes in battle, he prefers if at all possible to let the already-permanently injured Blaze take the hits for him.  He is in prime shape -- his flight muscles are strong, his wings are whole, and looking into his eyes is said to be like having stared at the sun for far too long.

All dragons barring his family and Fel Shrieker avoid him at all costs; the risks of running into such an unstable and neurotic dragon are too great to take.
