Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cryptic Cody is the oldest Magi in his cave. There was one before him, but that dragon left when Cody arrived as an egg. He is very practiced in the arts, and has learned to perform any number of magical spells. He can harvest the fog of gray dragons and use it to enshroud eggs and hatchlings and rearrange ink markings on the scroll that is used to keep track of the dragons in his dwelling. Being the only one in the cave to be able to use these spells took a toll on him, so he eventually taught new magical dragons to do these things.

As time went on, Cody became a bit more secretive in his practices. He wanted some magic to be the kind that only he could do.
