An almost strictly nocturnal breed, Ciriax Lindwyrms are especially attuned to the moons’ cycles. They spend nights patrolling the edges of their territory, aggressively fending off intruders while they feast on their prey. After two or three nights of feeding, often around the time of at least one full moon, Ciriax Lindwyrms retreat to the recesses of their cave or underground homes. These dragons make it particularly difficult to travel on nights that are well-lit by moonlight, often to an unsuspecting adventurer’s dismay.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Xoot and Venus lives on land that's barren and icy most months of the year and conveniently close to Mask Beach. She could live somewhere darker, but all the little plants trying to make a living and the dirty white snow here appeal to her. The eastern edge is shared with some dragons and a few humans. Maybe "shared" is a generous way to put it, but she doesn't harm anybody as long as they aren't rude and, for their sake, don't traverse the strip on moonlit nights. The only exception is people with bows on their hats. Once, someone wearing a cap with a bow gave Xoot and Venus treats as a gift, instructing Xoot to eat one thing and Venus to eat the other "for greatest effect". A few minutes later, they combined in her stomach and caused her such intense pain that she could only writhe and cry, and she's sure without intervention by one of the medics on the strip, she wouldn't be alive. Now, she hates people with bow-adorned hats and savagely attacks anybody seen wearing one.
