Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very calm and has a glistening mane.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Cattish is most notable for his disposition. Even for a baby, who's unable to to clearly communicate his desires, he is sullen and disagreeable, and as a skysilk especially, his behavior seems extremely unusual. He's also a slow learner and isn't interested in his tutor's material and would much rather chase birds and fan small objects. The latter seems to be a favorite hobby of his: Cattish seems most joyful causing breezes that send things flying. His caretakers, a mint and water walker, are worried about his development and wonder if they're bad parents.
