Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A very colorful dragon, Tehlura was the youngest of her clutch, the third to be taken from the abandoned pile and the last to hatch and grow. She is a radiant dragon with beautiful colors that reflect the color of the leaves. Growing up at the end of the fall, Tehlura has more brown colors on her body as a result. Bright and cheerful, Tehlura is a very energetic and alert dragon. She loves to bound about in the autumn leaves, but will settle for snow or grass if it is not fall. Oddly, although she has wings, Tehlura would rather run or walk than fly; she does have the power to fly, but she does not care to do so for long periods of time. She has seemingly endless energy and often tires her fellow dragons out before she has even slowed down. Tehlura enjoys playing and running about, and all her exercise has made her a very powerful dragon. Besides bounding about, Tehlura enjoys mind games. She is very intelligent and often beats the other dragons at these games.
