Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Though Leon's youngest creator of the Equinox Coven, he is still several centuries old and deserves respect. Respect and honor are the most important things in his eyes.

When he was just a hatchling, he was mauled by a bear. A passing vampire happened upon him and turned him to save his life. Afterwards, his parents raised him as normally as possible, instilling him with strong values and respect for even those who become his dinner.

His life was ruined by Creorluna; they killed his parents and took him captive. At the time, Leeta was leader of Black Grave. She had been planning on escaping Creorluna and decided to take him with.

Then, Leon encountered Ash and he managed to convince Leeta Ash was trustworthy.

Personality wise, Leon is a very serious, passionate being. He accepts what he is but doesn't let the bloodlust get out of control. Despite high intelligence, Leon is biggest obstacle to the tentative alliance with the other clans; he doesn't want help from those who scorn him.
