Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Mageia, found exclusively in desert regions, are thought to be the wisest Xenowyrm subspecies. Due to their knowledge of the magi element, they are able to cast a variety of magics, including teleportation. Their beautiful yellow scutes are reflective and smooth like glass, making them very valuable to collectors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Novelize could be using her powerful magic to do great big things... or bad big things. But she prefers to just travel around the region and use that magic to make herself comfortable wherever she is. What she "does for a living" is writing books describing her favorite plays, detail by detail. She converts the story unfolding on the stage into text, using prepared spells to pay extra attention to all the action or to translate what the humans are saying if she doesn't understand their language. There have been a number of times Novelize has had to guess what everyone is saying because the troupe employed cassares or brought something else that negated magic—for other reasons, not because people have some distrust of Novelize. In fact, Novelize's presence sometimes brings many more humans to the theatre, so backstage after a show, the cast can stick around to explain parts that their special audience member missed if she had a "regular" viewing.
