Sapphire Dragons were so named for their brilliant color, which is reminiscent of the gemstone. This breed was historically hunted for their scales; even long after, they remain distrustful of humans. Normally a Sapphire is not very aggressive, but they will defend themselves vigorously if under attack. Their diet consists mainly of fruit, with smaller portions of large insects and other invertebrates. Males woo females with vocalizations similar to bird songs. Sapphire Dragons are very loyal to their mates, and it is not unusual that they pair for life.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Super Easy was coddled as a hatchling and never made to do anything difficult, so when Hrash declared war on some island state out east, he had no idea what to expect and thought fighting could even be a nifty experience. He was lonely during training because he didn't know anybody, and other recruits found him too cheery and naive. Once his superiors hammered into him that he had to be willing to die for Hrash, he was no longer on board with the war thing, especially the part where he might die. Hrash ended up losing some of its coastal land, and the government paid the fighters less, too, but Super Easy was just glad to have survived. Everyone says they came out of the conflict stronger and smarter, but it seems only he has any regrets. His current job is in-house assistant writer at Coal's Theater, which, happily, involves no fighting or ambushes. His colleagues and boss have noted that he has a strange look whenever they're in a meeting and he's helping getting ideas out.
