Skystrider Dragons are known for almost never leaving the air as they have no other means of defense if attacked. The main exception to this rule is when they nest in the branches of ancient trees to sleep. This airborne tendency can make raising and keeping Skystrider Dragons an extra challenge. Males have a row of poisonous spines along their backs while females have a venomous bite. Skystrider Dragons mostly prey on birds and flying insects, leading their presence to be welcomed by farmers who often leave out treats hoping to lure a group nearby.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

BUftB got into a comedy troupe by complete accident. As a wyrmling, he was exposed to a cocktail of magic that was supposed to make him grow big and strong, and while the magic did make him strong, he is only strong for a small, light, insect-hunting skystrider. The magic did not make him big at all. The bulging muscles on his tiny frame look somewhat comical. Gravely Unadulterated was looking for help practicing her routine when she saw BUftB showing off his great (for a skystrider) feats of strength and asked if he would help her develop a comedy routine. He agreed, and they developed an act which they preformed together. They got accepted into a circus together, and after a decade of learning the ropes (literally and figuratively) have since gone out with a few other actors and a financial manager to form their own troupe. BUftB is mostly in charge of managing personnel alongside Amistra the financial manager and scouting for talent, but he still performs occasionally.
