Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

BOB1b enchants magical devices that other dragons have assembled. He doesn't really like his career, but he is too afraid to look in another direction because of Melnath. Nobody is quite sure why BOB1b is so submissive to the irritable geode, but rumour has it something happened involving the two dragons in the foothills of the Drowned Mountains. If you ask BOB1b, Melnath has never done anything wrong and all the problems he experiences are other dragons' faults. BOB1b is reclusive, exasperated by the Melnath's paranoid 'advice', and only ever gets out to hang out with the roleplaying group that meets at the Nworset library once in a while. Most of his communication is by mail, and his letters are often written in haste with coarse language. He doesn't seem to understand that swearing as he does is generally considered unacceptable.
