Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Inner Snow fears that she is filled with some sort of darkness from her cavern lurker ancestors and seeks to purify herself with snow. This fear has fed into itself, leaving her paranoid. She spends her time listening to the thoughts of creatures around her, looking upon herself through their eyes and seeing how terrifying she is to mice and birds. When she is scared, she has the ability to think "white" so loudly that it overpowers the sight of those within range, herself included.

It is said that those who have seen too much can venture on christmas into the barren, snowy wastes where she lives, far northwest of civilization. They will find a golden feather shed from her wing; its latent magic will help calm their turmoil and weaken unpleasant memories so they can enjoy themselves again.
