Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Gold, Brave" in Japanese. He is the second son born to Kin-Noeru and Aijou. Kin-Yukan'na was hatched into a bit of an unusual situation. His mother was openly mated to Zenryoku, but was also secretly mated to Kin-Noeru. Both males were fine with sharing their mate, but Aijou was worried about what the rest of the colony would think. When Kin-Yukan'na hatched, his family finally decided to drop the charade. Turns out, pretty much everyone in the colony already knew, and had accepted their unusual family. This worked out great for Kin-Yukan'na, since both his dads and his mom got to openly be in his life. He's a very regal and sophisticated dragon, who enjoy having intelligent debates with others. He is mated to Meili, a pretty little Lumina who stole his heart. She's both beautiful and fiercely intelligent, the perfect mate for Kin-Yukan'na. They love spending hours each day just talking to each other while they cuddle. They love each other deeply, and always will.
