Considered heralds of ill fortune, Omen Wyrms are usually found in areas previously ravaged by disaster or strife, blending in amongst the foliage. Due to the unique appearance and texture of their bodies, they often pass as dead trees as they wait for unsuspecting prey. Their haunting cry—like that of a hollow-sounding horn—is a sure signal to run: it is always followed by the dragons’ furious wrath, which manifests in the form of fiery cascades. Escape from an Omen Wyrm is possible, however; it is said they will not dare follow their quarry across running water, no matter the cause of their vexation.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bone Noodle was raised by her father and his side of the family. Because the breed and identity of her mum are unknown to everyone but her dad, Bone Noodle was a curiosity in the clan from the day he arrived back to Victor's Field with this oddly-textured egg slung across his flank. Until she began squeezing her way out, Grandpa even doubted this was a dragon's egg. It was his quick thinking that prevented Victor's Field from becoming Victor's Blackened Plain, since nobody expected the egg to erupt in flames. For most of her childhood, Bone Noodle was somewhat confused. She still is. She bears little resemblance to anyone in her family, who are various colors and sizes, but all have six limbs and aren't on fire. Her family taught her etiquette and critical thinking, which she found difficult. They find her desire to yell and chase prey until they die unsettling and her aversion to Vic Creek laughable, though not literally because she gets really angry if anyone laughs at her.
