Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jeroen is certainly like the storms that he can create and control, he blusters more than he thunders however and is far more approachable than he would have you believe. This particular male is a bit on the egotistical side and enjoys in competition to prove his strength and mastery over his beloved thunder and lightning. When he isn't caught up in trying to better himself in the eyes of others (he can be quite the ladies' man) he is pleasant and mindful of others' feelings and opinions. To say he is all brawn and no brain would be an insult to his character, he just seems to prize the brawn over brains for some mysterious reason. For all of his competitive, stubborn ways he has managed to keep a close relationship with his oldest daughter Jantine. He enjoys teaching her how to master her various powers and is a bit guilty of being quite the over-protective father when it comes to his daughter and suitors.
