Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Apockery serves as a scout for his Clan's military, where his swift running speed makes him a useful pair of eyes on the ground (or under it). While fliers scout out an area from above, Apockery is sent in afterwards to investigate all of the secrets hidden beneath canopies or caves, and he does his job with great enthusiasm. He loves the thrill of running and will seek any excuse to do it, especially for the good of others. Despite this he is not one to flee from a fight, and the moment danger appears he is always willing to put himself in front of others.
