Kyanite Pygmies are a feisty breed, always full of energy. Playfully ebullient, these tiny and elusive dragons like to chase after one another, darting in and out of small alcoves and other such hiding places. They often dig small burrows underneath large trees and nibble on the roots for sustenance. They rely on the towering oaks’ formidable trunks and vast immensity to hide them from predators, something their small size aids in. Kyanites also secrete a weak toxin when threatened, which further protects them from intruders. However, this poison is not strong enough to affect larger creatures, humans included.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

MicroKyogre is a hyper dragon with a vicious streak. He likes to pick on the aeon SynthaGroudon, taking any opportunity he can get to pull scales from his rival. It doesn't bother him that she is trying to kill him, nor that DireRayquaza is attempting in vain to enforce peace between them. He confidently boasts that he does better at suppressing SG than the blue gemshard Kyrogette does keeping red-scaled Groudion in check as part of their rivalry over green Rayquazit; though in reality this is not true, they're equally harassing their rivals. She and Rayquazit are aware that the rest of the Madder Jungle dragons think the two trios are the same three dragons twice, and occasionally the two have a friendly debate over whether it is funny or insulting.
