Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sand Wastes has hot, dry skin and fur. He lives on the outskirts of town -- any outskirts; direction doesn't matter as long as it's not within the town. Wandering with him is a potbellied barber with bleary eyes, blisters, and a look of remorse. Or maybe fright. Sand Wastes isn't very good at reading emotions. It appears that the fellow will never be accepted back to his herd or whatever they call it, so he's stuck there by Sand Wastes. Since he is a barber, he can give Sand Wastes a trim. Sand Wastes likes that. He occasionally wails at the sky and targets cactus for a haircut. Sand Wastes doesn't like that. There's someone else who passes by the two of them about six days a week, moving big boxes on and off carts, but the barber is more interesting and useful.
