Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Adji was born with the jitters. Even the simplest thing can send him shaking and scuttling away, from the tiniest mouse to standing slightly too close to the edge of a cliff. It's not that he is terrified of everything, just that whatever he encounters always seems to provoke some nerve in him, which results in his vibrating back and forth like a giant green bee. These constant movements always tire him out, leading to him spending long hours of the day in bed, too tired to even get up let alone think about work. The buzzing sound that comes from him while he is jittering back and forth is frequently complained about, as little can be heard through the constant hum, and as a result of this few dragons will choose to work with him. Having been born with this, Adji has learnt to blot it out, and one day hopes to find someone who loves him enough to put up with the humming long enough so they cannot hear it anymore.
