Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Paniculate resides in the Volumetric Lin where she's known by most dragons as the lady who never misses a Thursday showing at the Theater. She was once dragged there while incapacitated, and when she recovered a few days later, rather than being upset as expected, she was ecstatic that she didn't break her streak. Paniculate enjoys going on walks with her love, the anagallis Rok. She's willing to do whatever it takes to ensure his health and safety, and she keeps his pictures and contact information in a cozy cavity in her tree so she can reach him. Rok doesn't know who Paniculate is and doesn't know that she likes watching and hanging out with him. Her slight frame and soft feathers help her be very quiet and sneaky. She calls her favorite activity "going on a romantic walk together where only one of them knows that they're together".
