Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vexen kicks eggs kicks eggs. The clan allows only a certain number of eggs at once, since more of them around means a greater chance that a predator will find them and perhaps cause more trouble than it's worth to deal with. Vexen kicks eggs sometimes becomes impatient over eggs that have received adequate attention but still haven't hatched. Thus, he gives them a frustrated kick while demanding that they hatch. He is normally a hard-hitting dragon who can chill or freeze targets, but curiously, he doesn't damage the eggs at all, nor do the little dragons inside become more inclined to come out. Thus, Vexen kicks eggs is allowed near the nests and continues to kick disobedient eggs. The caretakers remain disgruntled, since the act itself is still kind of horrifying to watch.
