As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

A strange area deep in the forest was discovered by travelers one night. Beneath the brightly shining moon, a patch of flowering trees was found filled with wind chimes of all colors and sorts, each singing ethereal songs in the gentle breeze. For weeks, the travelers were puzzled by this musical glade and often returned to it just to reaffirm that it was real. Then one day, they met the little spirit that lived there; a small, colorful drake came flitting past, carrying the largest wind chime it could fly with to add to its ever-growing horde. Fractal Lullaby doesn't seem to mind visitors to his home, so long as they stay away from his proud collection. Nowadays many bring him more wind chimes as presents, helping him fill his forest with instruments too large for him to bring there himself, and he is very happy with it.
