Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Vonel is a "special investigator" of the Ministry of Information, and the vague title, ominous quietness, and unreadable face make him more terrifying than the boisterousness that marks the typical black dragon. Even breeds like hooktalons and kingcrownes fear him, or rather, fear the agency he works for. Not much is known about him or the Ministry of Information except that their relative obscureness belies the amount of influence they have over the dragons in their glorious coastal region. Vonel visits major checkpoints and locations, performing "audits" where he asks interviewees basic, seemingly-innocuous questions about how they're doing and what they're up to and if they've been associating with any suspicious groups. He promises that there is nothing to be afraid of, as long as the individuals being questioned don't have anything to hide. Those who do and are found out tend to disappear forever.
