Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Little Boy That Santa Forgot was adopted by the Color-Fur Copper Family when he was about two years old. It seems he was supposed to be on some sort of family migration and was left behind, and he spent six or seven years hoping he'd be returned to them before fully accepting his new family. It helped that New Mum and New Dad were very caring and smart and taught him many things while he was growing up. Nobody is really sure why he was named The Little Boy that Santa Forgot. Supposedly, the name came to New Dad in a dream-trip, and the nature of that journey suggested Santa was some sort of god, perhaps one of the many names of the Stat. He hopes to meet this Santa one day, when he finds time away from Color-Fur duties, and then he can ask Santa what it means when one is forgotten but found again like he was.
