Candelabra Dragons are a spectacular sight against the dark midnight sky. The glowing orbs that decorate their golden wings can be seen from far away and give them the unparalleled brilliance they are recognizable for. Proudly earnest, Candelabra Dragons will often go to extreme lengths to protect those close to them, even giving their lives to rescue a loved one from peril. However, they do not take lightly the breaking of a promise, and have been known to unleash a furious wrath when betrayed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Candlestick is something of a simple dragon, in that she derives joy and satisfaction from the simple pleasures of life. Having a Pillow father, she adopted some of that breed's lethargic traits and lifestyle, spending a good portion of her time lying in the grass and enjoying the weather. She still dedicates herself wholeheartedly to caring for those around her. She'll willingly help anyone who comes to her, even with the most mundane or simple of tasks. She's also very accepting of anyone who just wants to lay down with her for a while. She can offer some surprisingly deep, meditative advice to those that stay in her company long enough. During the night is when she is most active. When the sky is clear, she will take long flights over the landscape, gliding upon the midnight breezes and allowing her light orbs to shimmer like stars. She is a lovely sight to anyone watching and has come to be known as a sign of comfort and empathy in the dark.
