Candelabra Dragons are a spectacular sight against the dark midnight sky. The glowing orbs that decorate their golden wings can be seen from far away and give them the unparalleled brilliance they are recognizable for. Proudly earnest, Candelabra Dragons will often go to extreme lengths to protect those close to them, even giving their lives to rescue a loved one from peril. However, they do not take lightly the breaking of a promise, and have been known to unleash a furious wrath when betrayed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Firelight is a modest, kind Candelanbra well known for her inviting nature and wisdom. She's an old soul, acting with the care and reason of a dragon twice her age. In reality, she's very young, but has the maturity of someone far more experienced. Like any well-respected Candelabra, Firelight is highly protective of her family and will unleash torrents of deadly flames if ever she finds them under threat. It really is a striking contrast, seeing her calm and collected one minute then raging and engulfed in flames the next. Even her sweet potato of a mate, Puffle, becomes frightened of her in this state, so she tries to keep her cool as much as she can, even in such dire situations.
