Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
There was an old brute dragon who terrorized the humans, killing thousands for fun and generally giving brutes a bad name. Eventually, a band of warriors and wizards slew him. Among the parts that weren't disintegrated in the battle was a great black fang said to harness evil that drives the holder to go mad, usually killing them. Diox has the cursed tooth. Perhaps due to a genetic quirk, hard-headedness, or something, he's immune to its effects. He can't be rid of it without its beckoning aura attracting individuals who think it'll grant them power, so he's its reluctant guard. Many travel to him asking about the fang. He can tell just from the gleam in their eyes that they're unworthy of it. Those who steal the tooth anyway go mad, so poor Diox has to retrieve it before anyone else can. He's so tired of this same old business that he barely tolerates anyone who inquires about it. At least once a week, he'll become frustrated at some schmuck and end up screaming, "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TOOTH!"
