Coral Pygmy Wyverns are coastline vagrants, dominant in their ecosystems. They spend most of their time swimming around shallow coral atolls, snacking on the creatures that make their homes there. Don’t be fooled by their small size—these tiny dragons pack a ferocious punch; they can be painful to sharks, dragons, and other substantially larger predators. They are, unsurprisingly, difficult to integrate into human society.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

An angry little dragon, Salted Gremlin picks fights with all manner of creatures too large for him to eat, but he zooms away when danger rears its head. He lives in a hollowed-out gourd in the garden of a dragon who has declined locals' requests to kick him out. The garden is near the beach, between two peaceful coastal communities. Salted Gremlin likes to fly in and kick walls, interrupt meetings, and bully smaller residents. He knows curses (magical and linguistic) in five languages and would hex people more often if he had the patience to do the steps correctly. He's not viewed as all bad, though: he has a taste for insects, particularly mosquitoes and houseflies, and he has set traps (without asking for permission) around various houses and caves so he can get them "the easy way".
