When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Void Salmon resides in a swamp, usually sticking in the areas by the isthmus. There are lot of pretty green plants here despite being underground, and there's all the fish and mayonnaise he could ever want. Most travelers can only come here by using either a teleportation rune located in a wizard tower, or walking through a passage behind a tucked-away green marker near the mountain. There's a hut made of wood and leaves in the swamp, which doesn't belong to Void Salmon, but he enjoys the benefits of the owner's activities such as the hired guard standing on the isthmus. The guard is good at his job but unfortunately easy to bribe if one knows his favorite food. Somebody once caught Void Salmon and placed him in a little pond, where he was cared for and given whatever he wanted. The owner didn't like how he turned the water dark purple with his magic, and he was eventually set loose, where he just crawled back to the swamp.
