Canopy Dragons love to soar above the tropical jungles and other densely forested areas. Their billowing, layered wings create generous lift that allows them to ascend effortlessly over the warm jungle. While their unique wings do not make them the fastest flyers, they are champion gliders. To further this end, dexterity, maneuverability, and grace are all judged by the females when selecting their mates from the males that can accurately complete the exhausting and elaborate courtship dance between the close growing branches of the upper canopy.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name means "Little Flower" in Japanese, she is the daughter of Haruo and Arisu, and is best friends with Tama. They've been best friends since they hatched, and love each other like sisters. They both used to joke around about becoming mated to each others older brothers, who visited occasionally from the bachelor group. Little did they know that it would actually happen. One day the boys came back, and the girls were all grown up. They both ended up falling in love with their best friends little sister. Kawasemi fell in love with Aka-shoubin's little sister Tama, and Aka-shoubin fell in love with Kawasemi's little sister Kohana. Aka-shoubin and Kohana are such a beautiful couple. They love cuddling, and racing, and watching the sunset. They both feel so lucky to have each other, they're soul mates. They love each other with all their hearts and more, and they always will.
