On sunny days when the sea is clear and sparkling, coastal villages are often treated to a spectacular sight. While normally shy, Tideweaver Lindwyrms are emboldened by fair weather, and when one starts to dance, the rest soon follow. However, their intricate fins and complex dances are more than just a dazzling show. Tideweavers rely on slight changes in their movements and fin positions to communicate with others of their kind. This communication is key; the lindwyrms are almost always found traveling within tightly bonded family groups. To show affection, they have been known to gently hold one another with their small front legs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dreaded Squishy Boy, Squishy Boy the Terror—Squishy Boy is feared throughout the Uniform Coastal Lands, and his name is spoken in a whisper. People don't know of his motives and opinions, but this terrifying creature has a habit of rising out of the water and, while ranting, grabbing his victims (oftentimes unsuspecting hatchlings) using his giant fins and ropy tail in an attempt to drown them. Luckily, they always manage to struggle free and escape, though this experience may leave them with a lifelong fear of the ocean. In reality, Squishy Boy is just a "huggy" dragon whose species typically shows affection by other means, so no one understands her behavior. She does not introduce herself wherever she appears and is also terrible at clearly communicating her desire to hug someone. Somehow, shouting "I just wanna squish you and EAT YOU UP!" just doesn't convey friendliness.
