Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The domestic goddess that is Fern is the perfect mother in every way, or so she would have everyone else believe. She regularly visits her children, making sure to bring gifts and love with her, and turns her food rations into a delicious masterpiece of spices neatly balancing out the delicate taste of the meat. She regularly helps others around the cave, washing down stone dragons or dethorning vines, and somehow still has time to keep her home immaculate in every way, with the marble floor so polished that one could see one's reflection in it, yet still manages to complete her chores to a high standard. Many envy her, many more aspire to be her, and only a few regard her with suspicion, wondering how on earth she manages to do the tasks that would tire out the most hardworking of dragons. When anyone dares to probe into this, Fern becomes incredibly defensive, amplifying the belief that there is something she is hiding, but what it is nobody knows.
