Luminox Wyverns are a spritely breed, though their sharp beaks and talons may suggest otherwise. As the fall months approach, they begin to collect and store heat from fire mana, and as the temperatures drop off, they release it through localized spots on their bodies. This enchanted heat creates a bubble of warmth around the dragon, not dissimilar to sitting by a fire, and it causes parts of their hides to glow a striking orange. They are very popular with children, who are enraptured by their bright wingtips, glowing markings, and magical warmth. As a result, they frequently join in on human festivities, much to the humans’ delight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Camp is a very gentle, tepid Luminox, though most are driven away by his rather terrifying visage. He has a quiet voice that sounds like he's constantly choking on ash, hence his surname. He cares deeply for all living things. He's even a vegetarian. Camp is always willing to offer warmth and comfort to those who need it, cradling them in his wings. He works overtime during the Fall and Winter, doing his best to ensure heat to those who can't get it themselves. It's this caring and diligent nature that draws his wife, Clock, to him. Although, she does often get annoyed when he starts acting like her mother, worrying over her. This has caused some turmoil between them in the past, but it is usually quickly resolved. Camp is not the kind of dragon to hold a grudge or perpetuate an argument. He knows when he's done wrong and, even when he hasn't, knows when to apologize. He's mindful of others' feelings. Camp always tries to understand others as best as possible so he can speak to them.
