Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Liberty's Sense is said to have all the level-headedness his mother lacks. He really has been forced to his whole life--rejecting him, Liberty's Cent clung to a small coin to treat as a child, acting as if her son were any other hatchling. Feeling abandoned and alone, Liberty's Sense vowed to treat no other dragon as his mother had him. He would not ask for any assistance from any other dragon, never troubling any creature or disturbing any peace. He takes this respect to an extreme, refusing even to settle arguments for fear of appearing to favor one dragon over another.
