Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lowina Swiftwing is one of the Warriors in her clan. Being a Whiptail Dragon, her speed makes her a formidable opponent in battle. She is a Scout, meaning that her main job is to hunt for prey for the clan. She has perfected techniques to catch many types of prey and her contribution to the Clan has earned her much respect and also the status of a Senior Warrior. She now tutors newly matured adults in hunting methods, thus helping Mikuri Aquastar in his duties.
