Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

While still as nasty-tempered as Fel Shrieker, the fires second-in-command, Blaze Glassweaver, is able to keep a better handle on her fury than the Hellfire and therefore is the one in charge of keeping the Alpha, Preto Osso, and the main cave up to date with their actions and lives.

She is neither young nor old, and although she is in the prime of her health, her wing-membranes are so utterly destroyed from fighting and defending her Beta from the males trying to rid themselves of her presence, that she is no longer able to fly more than a few tens of feet into the air before plummeting down again.  Blaze doesn't let this stop her, however -- she trained her body to adapt to life on the ground with twice-daily sprints to the home cave, and because of this her flight muscles have degraded from lack of use, while strong leg and back muscles have given Blaze a bulkier appearance than others of her kin.
