Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s rather plain looking, though.

And look! It has grown wings, and bright markings have developed all over its body.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Kletzkin has a simple and (in his opinion) ingenious method of attracting a lady: he casually walks up to her and—"TA-DA!"—with a flex, opens his wings, showing off his beautiful colors and amazing physique. If she doesn't respond or turns away, he waddles to face her and repeats the movement. Kletzkin doesn't understand why this doesn't ever work. Other than the occasional tantrum, sluggish movement in the morning, proclivity to insult the grownups, rank breath, baby fat, meat hoarding hobby, a better-than-you attitude, having barely-venomous barbs, and jealous clinginess, he's the perfect man. For some reason, others just don't see it.
