Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Raquya was raised on tales of a hero. The great General Sanglune (Bloodmoon), her uncle. Her father idolized him, and she was immensely proud to be related to such a noble dragon.
Her father and he were separated when they were young, but he heard of his brother's deeds from afar. He told Raquya that one day she would meet him, and they could be a proper family.
She always dreamed of the day she would meet him, but she never guessed their first meeting would be in battle. She had heard of the clan Creorluna's horrible deeds, but the fact her uncle led the crazed cult was glossed over. Shed offered aid the Northern clans struggles versus Creorluna and came across Izdati himself on the field. Izdati just about tore her apart, leaving her barely alive.
Her father has locked himself into a state of the past. He refuses to acknowledge that the tyrant and his brother are one in the same and he even went so far as to attack his own daughter when she confronted him about Izdati.
