Light Weavers are an elusive breed of dragon, most commonly sighted in the coldest months. When the days grow short and dark, these spirits of winter emerge from their dens just after sunset, painting the sky in a dazzling display of light that’s as rare as it is awesome to behold. It is said they only make their presence known to lost travelers on the brink of despair, whom they guide to safety with a trail of enchanted light. This light radiates a comforting warmth powerful enough to cut even through the most frigid temperatures. According to legend, flames lit by their antlers do not burn out until they are no longer depended upon by the recipient.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kunrad's house is at Papa's Approach, where, due to the magic seep of the old territory and the unusual circumstances that led to its current state, it's distressingly easy to get lost. Ordinary compasses do not work, and travelers who've entered and exited say that there are "nonexistent patches" that one has to look out for. The area is impossible to record on a single map, since it and the map itself will shift. Rumors abound that it has mind-control properties, too. There may be other permanent denizens of Papa's Approach, but Kunrad is the only one whose presence is well-documented. When people meet her for the first time and any danger they're in has passed, they react with a head cock or outright confusion when she introduces herself as Kunrad. Here is a fabulous being, a living beacon to the lost, named something so oddly ordinary. Also, she lives in a very ordinary-looking house. She would say oddness is relative, especially in this place that is more than a little odd.
