Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Geodesic Collector lives in a dome of rock magically grown from a massive stone wreckage left over from a long-forgotten war that scarred the landscape around what is now the town of Lloyprij. She has an eye for beauty and collects gems, statues, paintings, and all manner of art, displaying them in translucent crystals that she has grown from the inside of her weyr to mimic a geode-stone's appearance. A thin hole in the ceiling, sealed by the same clear crystal, is the only light source, and it is refracted throughout the chamber by a crystal of light mana to illuminate the shimmering space. Travellers often pay her for a guided tour, which is now the primary way she makes her living. She has made names for several aspiring artists by displaying their works.
