Shallow Water Dragons are found in tropical regions where the water is warm. They use their magic to hunt, using bubbles to capture small fish and animals. Their large, webbed feet make them excellent swimmers and they are able to move at very high speeds. Due to their bright color, these dragons are easily spotted in the lagoons where they live.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Behold, seeker of the dragon lore, Schilfrohr of the Shallow Water dragons. Her name is the German word for "reed" and was given to her due to the place where her mother had made her nest. As is often the case, Schilfrohr is the child of a Water dragon and a Magi dragon who only bred with each other twice. As most of her breed, she primarily uses her magical abilities to hunt although the magic seems to be rather strong in her. Observing her is a rather tough job for the researchers keeping an eye on her habitat as she shies away from even slightly irregular noises or views. As far as is known, she mated with a male from a different breed  in her first season—but there seems to have been no egg. The researchers therefore hope for a male of her own breed to find his way to the warm and rather ideal lake she lives in, preferably one with a more outgoing and daring character.
