Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Like Dermego, Lorelesia was a fosterling from a neighboring Clan. The Valley had always been home to her. When her family returned for her, she was more frightened than she had ever been in her life. She didn't know them. She was an egg when she was brought to the Valley. Lori would've been as ill-suited in the mountains as a fish out of water. The Clans debated her custody for four days. Both sides wanted her. She has always been a good hunter; a great asset to any Clan, but neither side could afford a war. Finally, on the fourth night, her Birth-Clan gave her up to the Valley Clan. There was much rejoicing in the Valley. To Sonnoh, the Clan-Leader of that time, Lori was like a daughter. They share much in common, despite their different hunting and sleeping habits. When Sonnoh learned that his son, Sorrin, had chosen Lorelesia as a Mate, he couldn't have been happier. She has many friends, and is loved by everyone in the Clan. It was clear that she would be a great Co-Clan-Leader.
