Plated Colossus Dragons are one of the largest dragon species. These huge brutes are notorious bullies—they prefer to steal food from other dragons rather than finding it for themselves. As their thick hides are impervious to most forms of physical attack, Plated Colossi simply ignore the other dragons’ protests, or lash the offending dragon with their club-like tail, which can easily break a limb. Plated Colossi have slow metabolisms and do not need to eat often, but they may consume nearly half their body weight in one feeding. These dragons are not incredibly clever and any discussion with them will often center around eating.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gigantism is stupid and thinks about food a lot, but she's not as stupid as she seems because she makes herself seem stupider than she is. Except, other dragons often point out, she probably isn't as smart as she pretends she isn't because in order to conceal smartness under stupidity, one has to be pretty smart to begin with, and she hasn't really displayed that capability. She could be smart under a guise of stupidity, but more likely she's stupid trying to uphold a guise of smart that's under a guise of stupid. Or maybe Gigantism figured that that's how others think of her, so she's now trying to be smart under a guise of stupidity that's trying to look smart by pretending to be stupid... Gah. All that thinking makes her hanker for a snack.
