Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

She knows her father loves her mother, loves her dearly. Yet she also knows her father's mate is not the one who bore her. She's watched those others of the Myste caverns enjoying the benefits wrought from her father's actions, but she and her mother are alone in knowing why.

In an effort to never become her father, she wanders the realm far and near, and caring for whichever dragonlings she finds, though searching for something to warm her own heart as her father searches for Nacht'Larn. Only rarely does she return to the caverns, sometimes to sleep and other times to dream.
