Lunar Heralds are deeply attuned to the two moons of Valkemare, Aurax and Cirion. Strictly nocturnal, they draw energy from moonlight and will only hunt when the moons have waned. When breeding, the amount of moonlight the parents receive from each moon will determine the color of the egg produced. When a Lunar Herald is struck by direct moonlight, an illusion of multiple wings may appear. Witnessing a Lunar Herald’s illusory wings is commonly believed to be a sign of good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

During the course of her life, The Big Short has made a long-time hobby of observing humans. What she finds interesting about them are some of their innate traits—while humans are short-lived, they're complicated and emotional and most of all irrational. They cannot calculate probability; instead, most humans work purely on a bluff system of "maybe soon", "probably", and "next time", and they love anecdotes over evidence. TBS gleefully abuses these logical weaknesses using an organized theft establishment she calls a "gambling den". The clientele don't know who runs the place and merrily lose money to each other and to her colorful contraptions without worrying about it. Most of the human staff she employs aren't even aware that "Boss Shortie" is a dragon and assume the lunar herald hanging around is their employer's pet. How a sentient, intelligent dragon can be someone's pet baffles TBS, but for observation purposes and her own amusement, she plays along or simply remains quiet.
