Glystere Wyrms spend most of the year deep in arctic seas. As winter approaches, these dragons will emerge from beneath the ice to congregate midair in search of a mate, where the glitter of mana crystals down their bodies can be seen as they fly across the night sky. Glystere Wyrms are known to take a respite from flying by looping around trees, over homes, or across high-hanging cliff edges while entwined with others of their kind. The colorful light of their mana crystals and the icicles formed down their undersides often leads them to be mistaken for festive decor when at rest. Traveling with friends and families to find the most brilliant display of these wyrms has become a steadfast tradition during the holiday season.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Every winter, Redecorate makes sure to leave his group for a while to visit his favorite human-made land feature of a nonstandard size: a sporting course with grass and landmarks where players use sticks to hit a tiny ball onto a green area with a flag, and they do a lot of walking. He can't remember what this place is called, so he refers to it as the tiny-balls-course. Redecorate usually just lies on a wall or tree to watch players play, since he's not the right shape to really join in. People seem to like him, which is great because it's easier to hang around somewhere one is welcome. Some folks have even outright asked him to stay at the tiny-balls-course longer, but he must go home eventually. Whenever he speaks to any of the tiny-balls-guys at the pro shop and the practice area about how business is doing and who's the best player of the year, they seem to bristle a little. Maybe they don't like a strange dragon asking them about an activity he's never participated in.
