Perhaps among the most venerated of dragon breeds is the Zyumorph, a breed whose selfless heroism and strong moral compass are nearly unparalleled by other dragons. Zyumorphs have an innate urge to fend off wrongdoing, and as such, are often sought after in times of peril. Although they are independently quite capable fighters, it is said that their true might is not unlocked until all six Zyumorphs are brought together in times of great duress.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Subserve gets what she wants using volume, and no one's yet figured out that she would never follow through with her threats. Her dream is to open her own restaurant, whose location will be one of the human-populated towns scattered at the mountain base. She believes human guests will appreciate her more, and she can probably avoid taxes by telling them that the mighty Zyumorph does not do your puny taxes. She just has to come up with the correct phrasing. That dream was made a teeny bit more difficult after she stole the west wing from the Forktine Bowling Plaza and Community Center believing it to be a hideout for renegade fairies, and it turned out to not be a hideout for renegade fairies. The humans in Forktine and in nearby towns still seem upset about the theft, and Subserve hasn't returned the west wing because she accidentally dropped it and broke it. Luckily, there was no one inside because she tilted it and poured everyone out while looking for the fairies earlier.
