Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tabitabi, real name Tabitha, is very loyal to his team and its leader, though he would like to one day be promoted. He acts as the main researcher and has a brilliant mind at 27, but he occasionally throws childish tantrums and hates being called "sir" because it makes him sound old. A perpetual squinter for some reason, he nonetheless has a frightening red-eyed stare when he's angry or just acting cocky. Tabitabi has a sort of tic, a chuckle that sounds like "ahyahya", that begins nearly all of his thoughts when he speaks to other people. All of his behavior make him seem unhinged, but ultimately, he's more forward-thinking than his boss and is the first to notice when things to awry.
